They're not all prison tats because I didn't want them to be all black. The triangle things are a Hawaiian pattern I ran across, the pin-up girl was just something I thought he'd have and if you can't tell those are supposed to be shadow puppets he's holding up.

yeah plenty of misproportions...
*NOTE* everyone I'd really appreciate some straight forward [specific] comments on exactly that {proportions/etc}...also thoughts/feelings on general ideas/items in the drawing...

about the tattoos:
-the dartboard was originally going to be an old-fashioned red-&-white bullseye then some sort of trageting-cross, but they weren't coming out right...the drawings are on 11x8 paper and even w/ a 5mm pencil i can't go too small...although the BULLSEYE would look much better
-I wanted the ZOE tattoo to show, but the sash of the grass skirt looks off if i draw it too low.
-the dinasours came out bigger than I wanted, but I tried to color code them according to screencaps.
-for the LEAF ON THE WIND tattoo you can see after the "L" and the "A" i abandoned trying to curve them to his shape. also the "D" is actually like that, I DIDN'T try and fit it on the shoulder.
-the tattoo of the patch was originally supposed to be a nipple tattoo of PILOT-WINGS w/ a CREST above it, but it didn't look like it belonged in the FIREFLY universe so...

awsome wash image. i love this pic. i would rate it a 8. i would love a poster of this are you going to try to do one of mal and jayne? would love that a lot!!!!!
