Julien King looked up at the Firefly and was not impressed with what he saw.

"Well, what do you think?" Mal asked.

Julien stared with a shocked look on his face at the pile of metal that his old friend called a "boat." "Honestly, Mal, it's a pile of go-she. I don't even know how it could stay in the air. They stopped making these last century. I wouldn't rather spend a night in a Gefängnis Max than fly on on these."

Mal looked shocked. "Don't let Kaylee ever hear you say that," Mal advised.

"And who's Kaylee?" asked Leo King as she walked up to Mal and Julien carrying her bags.

"Our very genius mechainic," Mal stated. "How long you two been married?"

"Just over a year," Julien answered putting his arm around his wife's shoulder. "I heard you got married as well."

Mal sighed, "Don't remind me." The truth was he had forgotten about Yo-Saff-Brig. He'd had too much on his plate to worry about how his "wife" was getting on.

"What does that mean?" Leo asked as they walked up the rap and into the ship.

"It means that he was scammed."

Inara walked down the stairs inside the cargo bay to greet the new crew members.

"That sounds like Mal," Leo stated. "Haven't changed much have you?"

Mal just shook his head and said, "Jule, Leo, tis is Inara."

"The Companion?" asked Julien.

"Wow, one of Mal's friends called me a Comapanion, not a whore," Inara mused.

"Why are you suprised?" Julien asked. "Back in the war, Mal always-"

"Come, I'll show you your room," Mal interrupted.
