The Summer & Jewel Publicity Photo Oddity

Summer was taken about a year ago and Jewel's was definitely taken at least 12 years ago... does anyone else find this slightly odd. I think it's interesting the Summer's known for being shy and her limbs / feet have firmer more uniform lines and Jewel who's known to be outspoken is wide open with even her wrists facing the camera.
Maybe it's just the ages that they were when the respective photo were taken. What do you think?

Yeah, it's an interesting bit of psychology. I mean, you can read so much into a person and who they are just by looking at their body language.
To me, it's a goddamn shame that Sean doesn't seem to work too much or at all for whatever reason. Because I always got the sense that of the various cast members, he's the one whose the least like his character. Simon is the epitome of reserved and button down, but in the interviews on the series DVD, he's got the leather jacket and loose body language, and at the photos for the SERENITY premiere, one of them has him sticking his tounge out at Nathan. So I think he could pull off a variety of different characters.
Him and Wes Bentley I have no idea why they're not on the same level of celebrity as say Jake Gyllenhaal and Tobery Maguire.

Summer looks like the ballet dancer she trained to be and Jewel looks like the child star she used to be.

Summer *R*E*A*L*L*Y* looks like a Barbie doll, and Jewel looks like a little girl dressed up in an airline stewardess uniform.
