First try on canvas

I've done a pattern on my computer first and I wanted to try the colors. SO I took a smaller canvas first and did the River pic first. I'm not too happy with the colors, I think they'll differ on the big picture. But I thought I'd let you know what it looks like once I take a brush and colors to do some work... The color's still wet so the pic is somehow "shiny", sorry *g*

I think it looks good :). And I know what I'm talking about, since my hobby is painting, and I could never even come close to what you've done.

That's easy :-) Just like painting by numbers. You need the right template which can be made from any good picture and everybody turns out to be an artist :) But one needs lots of time (this relatively small pic took 2 1/2 hours...) and patience...
