You created this from scratch? This isn't just an exsisting image you manipulated?
If so, this is impressive beyond anything yet posted in the Blue Sun room, and must have taken dozens of hours to complete. Tell us more about this project - how long it took, how many people worked on it, what eles you plan to do with the 3D models, etc.
Great job!

Won't ask how you managed it, Tiger's already brought it up. What I would like to know is may I use this as my wallpaper, and how would I go about doing so? Waiting for your answer, and a thank-you in advance. Fireflyfanforever.

This is very freakin' cool. I love the heat waves coming off the engines. Nice touch.
All the images on your website are incredible, as well. Very cool stuff!

Whoa!
How long did it take to render that?
I like the Blade Runner images on your site too!

Shiny beyond belief. Most impressive, keep it up. Care to share how you went about creating that?

You like, do this for a living, right?
Or like you have the same software as the f/x company, right?
I mean, this makes my stuff look like ruttin' go se!
And I love the inclusion of the TG Freight logos! ;) Most excellent! You get a 10 for that alone!

This serenity model took 70 man-hours to complete. I modeled it entirely in Lightwave 3d (http://www.newtek.com), and the textures were made using Adobe Photoshop. I will be posting more beauty shots as time goes on. I do not yet work for a professional CG company, but hope to someday. :D

It looks like an armed and armored version of Serenity. Now they really can blow people off of moons.
