Title: Leaving - Part 2

Something was going on but Kaylee just couldn’t put her finger on it. Dinner was being prepared by Book and the Cap’n had been like this all day, she didn’t know if it was the lighting or a bad nights sleep, but the Cap’n seemed older some how. Just sat there drinking his tea, not saying a word to nobody. Looking around the room she saw that everyone else was secure in there routines, Jayne was sitting two chairs down from the Cap’n, in a world of his own, rubbing Vera with a diaper. Simon and River were playing another game of chess, they were short games and Simon always lost. But, the Cap’n, she just couldn’t put her finger on it.

“Your fingers are slippery, the Bird is trying to leave its cage with a broken wing”, River sometimes scared Kaylee. The comments she made weren’t always random or meaningless, some just had a higher meaning, “Check mate!” She announced.

“I don’t know why I bother any more”, He looked up at her and Simon’s smile moved her thoughts. He was so handsome and proper-like, with his white shirts and waist coats. He was so clean, she would love to see him covered in nothing but then motor oil….She stopped herself from thinking on it any further, she could feel the blood rushing to her cheeks.

“Don’t want to have this conversation again Honey!” Zoe strode into the room like a general going to war, and Wash was right on her heals.

“Well pardon me for over thinking Lamy Toes, but this happens to be one of those giant uber-desitions and we shouldn’t be rushing into. I killed my goldfish!” This same conversation had been in play for weeks.

“Hell, I’ll impregnate her”, Jayne blurted, wedging himself into the conversation.

“Wasn’t Irana supposed to have been back by now, dinner is almost ready”, Book had skilfully changed the subject, a

Love the story, but please, please, please check your spelling before you post. It distracts from a very engrossing tale. Ali D :~)

AHHHH! COME ON DON'T LEAVE ME HANGING! I like it alot caught by the suspence here heh not much of a grammer n spelling sort a person fact is i am not good at writing i am a story teller. So i can say i love the story it is a great job so far but as for the actual structure i am not to good at infact i am only goof enought to say i can read it i understand it, and your vocabulary is ok... ummm so yeah good going! just keep it going
