Ayrad. Jayne does have blue eyes, but black eyes are an easier short-hand at conveying menace.

Thank you Colt999. Very nice of you to say so. :D
Misstressahara, I draw with pencil on paper first. When I'm happy with the pencil work, I go over that image with black ink pen, and then scan the black outline image into my mac.
That image I then take into Adobe Illustrator as it's in here where I add all the colour. Here's a link to my site where I've illustrated the process:
