Just a little technical-pen sketch of everybody's favorite pilot. I haven't drawn in awhile so it's not amazing but I'm gonna attempt a portrait of Cappy next. :)

Great sketch. You've really captured him ... his essence ...
I was just thinking about this picture (the pic this sketch is based on) today, and wondering what happened to Wash's crazy hair? It's all short and military-like. Made me wonder if this wasn't from a flashback of Wash at flight school, when he was laconic.

Gojiro: This is the popular theory on a few boards i've read based on the short hair and the patch on his flight suit many speculate he is in flight school in that image.

Three things, as a fellow artist let me just say...WOW. Second, I noticed a little tiny 's' on the back of his neck at the hairline. Coincidence? Third, looking below his waist may I say, he's REALLY filling out that suit. LOL. Fireflyfanforever.

fff, the "s" you see is just a penstroke... it's actually three lines that look a lot sharper in the actual drawing than they do in the scan. :)

Wow. When you get the rest of the crew done this could be quite a piece! Maybe even a triptych with Zoe in the middle and Mal on the other side.

Really lovely...I love Wash. And I know I've seen the photo this sketch is based on somewhere, but I can't find it at SerenityMovie.com. Where is it?
