Thanks for the compliments! I used Photoshop 7. It's a great design tool, but there's so much to it that it'd take years to know everything you can do with it. The font is called "eurostile".

Great image - I have photoshop 7 as well, but I can't figure out how you made the planet look so cool - can you give us some clues as to how you made it?

The sun was made with a combination of movie screen caps, a few filters, some major color adjustments, and then fooling with the brightness/contrast, transparency, etc. until it was just the way I wanted. It was one of things that I coulnd't duplicate exactly if I tried, because I changed so many things and didn't record any of the steps.
