This is going down better than I expected. Thanks for all the nice comments.
Kanya - youre right, the heads are a bit too large. Once I've finished a page I see all the many things that are wrong with it:).
I'm working on paper that's probably a little too small and I'm struggling with likenesses - I think that might have something to do with the dodgy proportions, but then my grasp of anatomy isn't that great:)

a tip- it helps to find proportions and stuff on the internet that illustrate how to pencil the body. Then draw out the page, step back, and if all is well, ink it 0_^
