based on a favorite pic of Kaylee. I had a hard time with her skin - the tones weren't dramatic, and it was hard to get any definition with such similar colors. I so need to take a class on this stuff, lol. Another all hand-done digital painting, done in PSP 9.

You've got the right idea-- you've gotta get the definition with the skin tones, and they're so subtle it's hard. But you've done a real good job.
The only thing that bothers me is the eyebrows-- you've done so much detail on the rest, the hair and eyelashes, they look like they were pencilled in. Or does that reflect the makeup she was wearing?

It's a very pretty rendering, though I have to comment on the "spidery" eyelashes. They look like she used some really bad mascara.
Love the mouth and hair, and yes, the skin tones look very nice!

Other than the kinda wonky eyelashes, this is utterly spectacular work here, Shadesiren! Definitely can't wait to see what else you got up your sleeves;)

Skin is perfect. Hair is perfect. Lips are perfect. Face pretty much perfect, except for the eyes. They seem a bit false and wrong. Not just the brows and lashes, but the irises as well.
Please remember that these criticisms are coming from someone who can only do stuff with existing images and cannot draw to save her life. I have huge respect for people talented enough to draw. And you can draw!
