I did this based on a screencapture of Inara in Serenity TM, after Mal tells her "Good answer". I loved that look, that smile. I can't say I'm one hundred percent thrilled with the results, but as a first try at something like THIS, I'm pretty pleased, overall.

It's great. I think the only improvement I could suggest would be to make the space between different teeth smaller and less black, because it looks like her teeth are small and way too spaced.
But that's me being seriously nitpicky.

I did actually have trouble with the teeth - they looked WAY too bright and noticable, so I kept making them darker, after I'd already shaded.. long story short, I should have re-shaded them from scratch lol.
Personally her shin is still driving me nuts. Her whole mouth-chin area, in fact. But I'm my very worst critic, and I never think they're done lol.
Thank you for the comments, it's kind of you to take the time to say something. I'm working at digging into Inara's head - I'm writing for her in two different play-by-post games, and want to do her justice. :)

Honestly? This is some utterly fabulous work here, Shadesiren! The only complaint I could muster if forced is the teeth...a bit too widely spaced and shark-like for my personal tastes.
