De-lurking for a moment...

Just to give an idea of scale, those bright white squares on the left are the doors. Big ballroom. Many people. Sound of standing ovation for Joss comparable to the reaction of the fans' Oscar party crowd to the arrival of Peter Jackson. Sensation of nigh-tele-empathic unity of affection directed at one individual approached religious ecstasy. still reeling.

I wish someone there had brought a wide-angle lens to convey the vastness of the audience. This picture, while good, doesn't nearly capture it.

Nice pic. I was too excited to think to turn around to take a pic. To people who weren't there, that is only a pic of one of the three rows. There were three times that many people there! (bet you couldn't get them all in one pic without panoramic)

Shoulda moved that camera a little left and you woulda gotten me in the pic.

Well, you got the top of my head in row six at the very bottom of the picture! The red curly hair is mine. And, it was awesome. The clapping went on forever and Joss was visibly moved.
