So I struggled with this one a bit. The text was tricky and I opted for dialogue versus one of my crappy poems...trust me, it really sucked- my poetry muse must be on strike. Anyway, this is the end result. :)

Oooh...interesting! Is that supposed to be blood or a red balloon?

Blending on River's arm is not entirely perfect (her arm is kinda tranparent), but it's still a lovely work. :)

BEB - its a red balloon - its a scene in bushwhacked when mal and zoe board the other ship.

asarian - yeah her arm is a little transparent -I suck at blending so my methods are rather imperfect. But its a work in progress of sorts - my blending skills get better the more I mess with it. :)

As always, thanks for all the shiny comments!

Personally? I actually think the quasi-transparency works in so many ways, even though it's unintentional!

River's state of mind here is tenuous and based more on her receipt and attempts at processing the residual traces of emotions and events that occurred to the settlers, meaning her presence isn't completely solid and/or stable;)

Thanks BEB, I hadn't thought about it, but now that you said it, it fits. :)

Shiny.

BEB, re the transparency, Jayne already said "I don't think she's all there." ;)

Yup, and the balloon is definitely a cool addition.

You know, I've always wanted to do something with that red balloon. I could never figure out how to use it though. This is about perfect.
