Ok, I spent entirely too much time on this. Really. I originally wanted to have the clasped hands faded in the background but after, hm, 2 hours and I still couldn't get it to look right so I tried soemthing different. Another hour and half later I came up with this and I am rather pleased with it even if it wasn't what I originally pictured in my mind. Anyway, comments always appreciated. :)

Oh...I think this quite the brilliant piece of work, Nidrian! The diagonal connections between River and Simon, and the clasped hands really help convey the bond the siblings have with one another. That and the words really get ya where you live;)

Lovely piece, truly. What BlueEyedBrigadier said.

Also, I like the colorization and lighting. Especially in the lower-left image of Simon vs. the upper-right image of River.

I, my own self, might have added a question mark; as in: "Time to go to sleep again?" (and a comma after "No" perhaps).

But decidedly an excellent work.

Thanks for the comment asarian. The reason for the phrasing of the text is that was the way it was in "Ariel" - recall that right before this dialogue simon asks river if she remembers why they went to the hospital and she assumes that it's "time to go to sleep again" and she says it as a statement rather than a question, to which simon corrects her. Also following with the episode there was no pause between "no" and "mei mei" so there was no need for a comma. Kind of a long winded explanation for two minor grammatical points isn't it? But anyway, that's why I did it that way versus the way you suggested. Thanks for the input though :D
