My first attempt at creating a movie-type poster for the adventures of Special Branch. This is for the latest thread (found at http://www.fireflyfans.net/thread.asp?b=11&t=26599)
We're "casting" all the roles at the minute, but for now, this poster shows Seryn (Claudia Black) and her new baby. Images taken from Space: Above and Beyond and Farscape: Peacekeeper Wars.

Huh...that veseel looks like Serenity's baby sister (i.e. like how an Escape is the "baby" of Ford's SUV line, the ship in this shot is the "baby" of a product line where a Firefly would be the mid-sized entry)...;)

Terror Forming (Part 3)
Previously: After a series of terraforming issues on Boros, a team is sent in to an underground cavern to try and solve the problem. When they fail to report in, another team follows led by "cleaner" Winston Beaumont. Discovering what looks like an ancient temple, the group eventually locate Francis Kincaid, seemingly the only survivor of the first team. But things aren't as they seem. (Part 3 of 3, plus an Epilogue)

Terror Forming (Part 2)
Previously: Francis Kincaid works as a fixer, repairing machines related to the terraforming process. After a job goes wrong on Boros, Kincaid finds himself injured and alone in an ancient underground temple. The longer he stays there, however, the more he realises that the team may have awoken something ancient. (Part 2 of 3, plus an Epilogue)

Terror Forming (Part 1)
Set in the verse, many years before the events of the series. This doesn’t feature any characters from the show, but rather fleshes out one of the aspects not really focused on in the series – the terraforming process of the newly discovered worlds. For those familiar with the Special Branch fic/threads from many years ago, this serves as a prequel of sorts to that story. Speaking of which, I’m planning on posting some more of that story in the new year, commemorating 20 years of Serenity. (It also might be a bit rough. This was a writing exercise for myself to try and get back into the process.) Part 1 of 3 (plus an Epilogue)

Joss Whedon at Starfury's "Serenity Forever"
Joss Whedon surprised fans at Starfury's "Serenity Forever" convention this weekend in London by showing up unannounced and proceeding to spend two hours busting moves with fans on the dancefloor, alongside guests Sean Maher and Jewel Staite. Here he is at the end of the party thanking fans for their continued love and support.
