ok I'm going to play critic to my own work. Lets start with the positives
1. It looks like what I was trying to draw and since I'm usually a terrible artist, I find that a good thing.
2. I quite like the way the hair and eyes turned out.
And now the negatives
1. I'm not happy with the nose
2. or the eyebrows

It's a really great first attempt at River; I like it. My only suggestion would be to soften, or remove the left line above her mouth.

Not a bad little effort here, Hobbleit. It's a bit rough...but definitely a great effort:D
