To Mer, I finally have an ally. Never been a Tom Cruise fan, and the only reason I liked Legend was for Tim Curry (huge fan). Besides, that suit Tom's wearing looks like he got it out of a huge Cracker Jack box. Whereas Alan's looks... well looks worn. Used. You know what I mean. And look at each pose. Sure, Tom's pose was probably very well choreograghed, but even in the movie, Tom really can't pull off that "young hot head fly by the edge of your seat flyboy." Where Alan makes flying the Serenity seem real. When I look at that I know, "He's off to fly the ship." And it looks real. But this seems like the sort of thing he would have worn in flight school. You know, because he "wanted to see what the hell everyone was talking about." Tom's in my bed? Get the hell out, Alan's coming home. And don't come back niether.
