I can't believe I forgot to upload this... I really like the way my first Serenity//Firefly portrait turned out; I'm starting to do cartoon-typres though I can't seem to get their faces right in cartoon. It's of River at the end of teh movie. I used the real picture and one of MPhillips drawings as a reference ;)

It's really nice. I'd say the one thing you could really change is the nose, and that would make a big difference. :)

Yep...fix the nose so it doesn't look like River got her schnoz busted in the fight against the Reavers and it's golden;D

Back off guys, noses is tough stuff!
Only thing harder than getting noses and eyes just right is doing baby faces. All curves no angles.
Okay and feet...and hands..
Hey if you can't do better don't kvetch.
Nice work, it took a lot of time and effort. Nice erasing. Gives it a softer quality than a cockpit usually has.

Nice work. For a first Firefly drawing, this is really astounding. Definitely like to see more.

I practiced drawing faces for a while. I eventually drew one that I liked. Like a dummy I drew it on notebook paper with blue lines on it.
Faces are super hard to draw. Looks good. Keep it up.
