The traditional obligatory offering to Boss Joss. Love his work, got bored, and decided to run with it!

This is a story co-written with a very good friend of mine, aka DeanWinchester here at FF.net. Action adventure, some family drama, and humor. Simon/Kaylee and Mal/Inara galore! Jayne/OC as well. Also, River getting to be a teenage girl in later chapters!

This is a great start. I liked your Mal and Inara moment in the beginning, but why keep it from Zoe? She wouldn't be as obnoxious as say, Jayne.

I'm really intrigued to see how this unfolds. I've only read a few stories where Jayne goes to visit the fam!

yep, interesting start. On a grammatical note, you have a few errors like he said/she said being mixed up, and quite a few spelling errors (eg heel and heal).
