The guy who played Atherton was the same dude who played Sydney's fiance on Alias. He was murdered in the first ep.

Really? See...I never saw Alias' first episdoe. Guess it's the height of irony that the character was a nice guy and gets offed, while Atherton's a prick and he survives;)
