Oh wow! It really works well with the feel of that scene. The disconectedness and the sudden quite.
It looks like it could use a bit of touch up on her feet and the hem of her dress but it still works well.

I really like this picture, and its effects. It'd be of interest to me to see how the image would change if everything *but* River was in color...

I like it. It seemed so natural that I seriously didn't realize what you'd done. Just that it was kinda odd. Then I realized. yinyang's suggestion intrigues me.
