Just a little banner based on the op's line. i've wanted to create an op/early image for a while and this is what i came up with. it's 431x220 created in the Gimp.

She looks so freaked out and scared, even though she kicked so much butt dealing with these two. I think a different picture would be better.

I like it. Simple, yet quite telling. Though I wouldn't mind seeing a question mark behind the text. :)

River's picture is perfect: a single light source on a girl in the dark.

Actually...I think this shot of River's perfect. To me, she's neither freaked out or happy. Just neutral or sad she has to go all psychic assassin on their asses;)

I agree the picture is perfect, looks sad at first glance, but you can see the warrior beneath. . .great choice, good work!!!

The first rule of flying
A warning for those on 56k this is pretty hefty 60 odd frames (though, it should be noted, this is the condensed version, the first attempt crashed my computer when I tried to save it, a surefire sign it is a tad too large). As for whether it was worth the effort well that's up to you. I'm pleased with it though.

Miranda animated Sig
My first attempt at a Gif animation so it's pretty shaky, hope you like it, any criticism would be very useful.

Revelation: A River signature.
A signature based on rivers "Miranda" moment. This, the haven exchange and the wash landing are my favourite shots from the BDM and so here they are in signature form. Hope you like them.

Cease: A Wash signature.
A signature image based around wash's final moments. I always loved how happy he was in this scene to have made it, and then... well, you know the rest.

Belief: A Mal and Book Haven signature.
A signature based on the interaction between Mal and Book on Haven during the BDM
