Blue Sun Room FILK - FILK
I am a leaf on the wind
Watch how I soar
I haven’t time to spend
The ground's just a bore
Among the stars I'm free
I live in the Black
Only me and my Zoe
And the crew at my back
I'm not the captain
But he was adrift
So he had to obtain
A pilot to lift
This old Serenity
And serene for the most part
But also can be
A mite of a tart
But I can handle
Anything she deals
Unless it’s a scandal
Or something with wheels
Together we soar
In among stars
Giving to poor
And taking what's ours
I wouldn’t have it any way
Than this one
Give me a day
I'll show you the sun
Unto the very end
And then some more
I am a leaf on the wind
Watch how I soar

I liked it! Some of the words confused me ("this old serenity/ and serene for the most part") but overall, good! I didn't think a poem could be made from that line in the movie, while still sounding like Wash, but you pulled it off. Kudos!
