It's been a while since I've been around, been in parts of the 'verse that aren't very Firefly/sci-fi savvy. Unfortunately I return with sad news. A friend of our family lost her 5 day old baby Wednesday. Due to complications, she is in precarious condition in the ICU, and only got to spend a total of 5 hours with little Olivia. We are keeping the family in our thoughts and appreciate if you would too. If you'd like to do more I'll post the link to the fund that my wife set up for any immediate costs they may incur. We are near our goal, so please don't feel obligated or coerced into giving. We're just doing whatever we can for our friends. I'm not as fluent in the workings of linking and sharing things so if I mess this up and you have a question feel free me message me, or email me at coolhandrik@yahoo.com. Do you ever notice that when you start one project, another one pops up and then another and another and another and then suddenly you stumble upon a fan fic you scribbled out in pieces, unsure of where it was going and now you've completely lost the thread because you work so hard on this other thing? Yeah. It happened to me. I started a blog-thing a few months ago and keeping that updated and fresh and all is really hard work. And I keep forgetting how to switch voices from that to this. And when I find I have time to sit down and watch "Firefly" again, someone else has taken that time and filled it with their needs and I can't say no, because enough people think I've become a hermit in an unhealthy-ish way and so I have to prove to them I do leave the house sometimes. And, no, not JUST for conventions. So, I'm trying to piece together the last threads I had started to weave into a story so that I don't disappear entirely from one of the most fun sites I ever joined in my whole internetted life...but if you feel desperate enough to find what else I've been doing when I'm not here...there is a place to visit. Well... I certainly have not been here for a while. It is currently month 5 of 2012, and almost a year since last on. But anyways, I ahve gotten rid of the golf cart frame, and am now starting from scratch, cutting, welding, buying the parts and attaching on my own. Just an update from the now 14yr old Mike. Bye.
