Hey, that sounds kinda dirty, don't it? Hehe. Maybe I need a bath... Good thing I'm here with a cat and not a mess of puppies, cause I am covered in juicy beef drippings. Preacher's dogs would have me on the ground by now, but the cat could give a damn. She's picky that way. Good thing. I had one of those Italian Beef sandwiches, the kind they dip in the juice before they give it to ya. I'm kind of a messy eater anyway, but I cannot even begin to impart to you the level of mess that just occurred here. I had to take off my watch to eat, cause I just knew I was gonna be a total pig about it. Seriously, do you think folks would look at me funny if I just wore one of those plastic poncho things? It probably wouldnt do anything about the greasy residue on my elbows, but at least it might save some of my shirts. We ate pasta the other day, and I got marinara sauce on my shoulder. Not down the front of me, or on my sleeve. On my SHOULDER. How the hell do you get sauce on your shoulder?! And it won't come out, either. I don't understand it. I'm not going all medieval in the resturaunt or anything. I do use silverware. Somehow I always end up with stuff on me, though. Napkins are no match. This is why I refuse to spend a bunch of money on clothes. I spill, splatter, drop, sling, spit, and slop all over everything. If I had dunked an $85 shirt in marinara sauce, I'd be pissed as hell. It's bad enough with a $15 tee shirt. WTF?

I posted something earlier about the Bechdel test today because I happened to be thinking about it. For those of you who aren't aware, the Bechdel Test is a writing tool for creating strong female characters. According to the test, well rounded female characters should have enough of their own hobbies/pursuits/conversation topics to be not have to resort to talking to each other about their romantic male interests, or their relationships with them. Yeah..I think I am! Hello! :D I haven't been on this site in months and months! And I haven't talked to many of my Browncoat pals even longer! I'm going to try my best and visit this site more often! I miss you all and the site. :) So, how is everyone? :D

Okay, the wheel keeps turning ... I have a new job, I work as a software developer again. Small company, nice colleagues, great fun so far. April is Script Frenzy month ... write 100 pages of screen play in one month. Hah! Not even much of a challenge for a NaNoWriMo veteran like me. She who can write a novel in a month can accomplish anything! 100 script pages don't scare me. I am writing a webseries. SciFi time travelling stuff. Well, not really time travel. More communication between different time lines. Enough to get everyone confused. I will be starting a kind of play-by-post game for the Signal this month. It's called "Dicey Audio". The interesting thing about it is, that the posts by the players are not in written form, but provided as audio recordings. So it will be kind of an interactive audio drama. LOVINGFIREFLY

I just finished watching the series and the movie. Now I feel a bit down. This series could have kept going for years. Lesser series have gone on for many years. The cast is FABULOUS. I have never enjoyed a series as much as I have enjoyed Firefly. In the movie I was crushed when preacher and Zoe's fun husband were killed. I wish the cast could have been kept in tact in case more movies or another Firefly series was started. With all the mindless garbage on t.v. I would LOVE to see this creative and entertaining series brought back in one way or another. Still Flying? Is it another firefly movie or series with the same actors??? I am new to this blogging and not sure how to correspond back and forth.

So a slight delay....youTube only allows 10min videos and our film was 10:25...so I had to re-export it from Premiere which takes about 4 hours and I needed my computer for other assignments until yesterday :P It's in HD (I think you have to choose that setting on youTube). I did the cliff, lightning and tropical scenes (found around 3:30). I also was the director, camera holder, music editor, sound mixer and production manager. Please keep in mind that we are students...so it's not professionally done or anything ^___^

Yeah, and guess who's fuckin' winnin'? I'll give you a hint... It aint me. I am straight up about to bust outa my shorts here, folks. All that Tex-Mex has left it's mark. It's just a damn good thing I'm too cheap to buy new clothes, cause I'd probably be as big as the side of a gorram alliance cruiser by now. So it's time to cut it back. I was trying to do the "more exercise" thing, because I am downright crappy at the "eat less" part of that equation. My gimped-out ankles still aren't 100% (see "Calamity-gorram-Jayne now" for that particular adventure), so that's been put in the slow lane for the moment. All that's left is to eat less. I am really, really difficult to get along with when I'm hungry. So please take me with a grain of salt over the next little while. There's a reason I'm a bear (so when I'm peeling your car open like a gorram sardine can to get at that box of twinkies, please don't shoot at me!) and as soon as I can comfortably button my shorts again, I'll go back to being my old charming self. Meanwhile, don't leave that shit sitting out in plain sight... Just putting it out there.
