As some may know I've been working for the same crowd for thirty years. In that time we've been taken over Three rimes by bigger corporation's and always to the benefit of the workers. Not anymore, they being a mega corporation,I wont say who they are at present but everybody all over the world uses some of there many products, decided to give the factory away to a newly formed limited company from India. So you might say ,its not the first time and it isn't but our service was always carried over.So from next year I have zero service,a new contract and no choice. Until now we've had to listen too One Team etc etc but I never thought I was actually a light fitting included in the sale. When I say sale I mean gift,at present all we know is the new limited company parent company has 1700 employees .We are around 450 . Pension seems to be an issue as well. Two year's ago, Clearys,a big Dublin Department Store was sold for ONE euro As the store had new owners they weren't obligated to pay any redudancy or what you call seperation payments. We all feel let down but at least its legal. Might change my avatar to Loadof......
