Sad news
Thursday, 07 December 2006 00:46:23

Well gang it seems the world is full of insane drivers ( esp. when it's nasty out) parked at an intersection minding my own business and ..pow.a car slides through slams into me and the car next to my truck...all three vehicles are totaled and I get an all expenses paid trip to the emergency room with a busted collar bone... That was Monday night...here it is Wednesday I'm home and feeling no pain from the percocet...drawing anything is out the door for a while ... So all you who ordered prints... they're on the way..just a little behind schedule... Keep the faith Mike

Returned
Thursday, 07 December 2006 05:14:15

Back from schoolies. It was the awesomest times one ever could have. I went up with a wallet bulging with (let's just say many many) $50 bills. I now have 45 cents to my (poor) name. Was it worth it for hat once in a lifetime opportunity? Hell Yeah! Now I know what your all thinking. None of you probably missed me, nor even knew that I was gone...and to you I say....well I don't care really, but if I did, I'd say something really cool and witty. All I know is-electricity is awesome and you don't know how much you need it until it's gone and Port Macquarrie can be real damn hot when you can't actually go into the water at the beach to cool off. To conclude: I had fun times of the kickass variety.

Packing for Flan
Thursday, 07 December 2006 06:59:10

Long time, no visit. It's been busy and chaotic to say the least. Anyhow, I'm in the midst of packing for Flan and suddenly decided that I'm having a fat day, I'm sick of my clothes, and I don't know what I want to wear. Basically, I turned into a total girl. And now I have enough outfits crammed into my luggage amongst the homework to last more than a week.

Pre-Flan Blog #3

Ok, kids... it's Flan travel morning and I'm freaked! I am scared to death of flying anyway, but the wind is howling and I'm afraid we'll have turbulence....( shakes head to clear it, puts on best determined face...) Ok, I'm better now. :) Just had to get that off my chest. I wanted to tell everyone here who is going to Flan, and I hope you see this before you leave or after you get there, if you have access to a comp... we'll be having a big Good Works room party... where folks can come make donations. Then your nice average have a good time party afterwards. We'll be drawing for door prizes, some of which are way cool! And our very own MalNourished and MalGal will be doing the Fan Activism Panel with OneTrueB!x on Saturday morning. This is so very shiny for them. :) For us all! I have two full bags packed, my husband keeps shaking his head over how in the world one small round woman could need so much stuff. LOL My IPod is loaded with Nathan's Rings of Orbis readings... and he sounds wonderful. ;) That should help with pre flight jitters. I've got all my favorite music, including Firefly and Serenity soundtracks loaded up on there...I'm set. Tulsa Airport here I come... eeeeep. Flan bound I am. I'll report in as soon as I get there and try my best to keep folks abreast of happenin's.

if the rain comes they run and hide their heads they might as well be dead

Hi there, As I am rubbish at thinking up titles for my blogs, I've decided to use song titles/quotes/whatever is in my head at the time instead. As it is absolutely tipping it down with rain I am using 'Rain' by the Beatles. I went Christmas shopping in Hartlepool today. I haven't been to Hartlepool in absolutely ages. They have a wizard in their Christmas display that looks extremely stoned. I actually think that it was the stoned Santa they had in previous years just redressed. The weather is absolutely horrible. As previously mentioned it is raining and it is cold and windy. I like it. I don't understand why people complain about the cold/wet, I think it's cool. Break up from university next week. I can't wait, all my friends will be back up soon. Hope i get to see them this holiday. TTFN Jennifer

Where am I?
Thursday, 07 December 2006 17:15:20

I haven't been around much lately. Sorry about that. Been in a bad head space. At this point I consider it a major acheivment to drag myself out of bed every day. Interacting with other people is hard for me when I'm like this. Even when it's digital interaction. Blegh. Still haven't finished my Inara Drawing. After that I was thinking on a Jayne and I have an idea for a Finvid but somehow I just can't get motivated. Anyway...yeah. I'm gonna go read a book and try to pretend I'm someone other then myself for a while.

Day four, a day of rest
Thursday, 07 December 2006 22:46:28

Hello once again So today is day four, and the week of jovial festivities is coming to a close. A quick word of warning: you may want to stop reading, as this is probably going to be my most boring blog to date. Yup, THAT boring! So on this day of rest, what did I do?? I read Firefly fanfics from the Blue Sun Room. Yup, that's it. ALL day. I'm sure you're all in envy of my amazingly glamorous lifestyle, eh?? Still, I enjoyed it, there's some good fanfics out there, some very interesting ideas and insights into characters and situations, relationships etc. I also had band practice, which I just returned home from, hence this being posted later than usual. Was fairly productive, learning two new songs. The whole thing was kinda ruined however by my brother's ability to be a highly-strung, stroppy drama queen. Still, used to that by now! Anyhoo friends, that's it, I'm afraid. No progress on that Firefly art I promised you, and nothing productive or even slightly redeeming was achieved all day - what a result! Take care gang, see y'all later!
