NOLA

Hi! A friend told me about this site and I lurked and then I decided to join. I love the show and the movie, I have the dvd and I saw the movie 3 times and plan on getting it on DVD. I do write fan fiction but I no longer share them with people on Fic Sites. I only share with close family and friends. I would love to share my fic's with you but due to a certain websites actions I can not. I had written a fan fiction and posted it on FF.net and I dont know if you ever heard of this site called Godawful.net they steal people's fics and trash the fic and the writer. Well they personaally attacked the fic and me in the review. What they said and did was very hurtful. This wasn't just someone saying they didnt like it. My fic was very good and I even had a beta reader go over it a dozen or more times. I think the with them problem was I used my name "Nola" as the character name. She was not related to anyone on the series. I certainly dont see a problem with me using my name in a fic. I like my name, It's latin and I am very proud of it. Nola

I can't believe this. Serenity had a week long one run here. Just one week- I only got to see it twice can you believe it? One Week??!!?? What sort of a town do I live in? I've been feeling pretty terrible lately, just really down, not even Firefly has cheered me up. It wasn't just the movie, I'm just feeling so sad. But it's Christmas and all the decorations are up, we even have a tree but I just can't find the spirit. *Sigh* I'm sorry for being sucha whinger, I'm not usually, which makes this even stranger. Bye.

It's coming up. Where did the year go? And I'm overjoyed that the new year will begin with me being unemployed. Great. Yeah, totally.
