Blue Sun Room?
Monday, 05 November 2007 11:37:41

All my content on blue sun room has been oddly... removed. Weird... Okay. Maybe I haven't logged into fireflyfans.net for a while, I've been using fanpop instead, updating firefly there under cristallize. I dressed up as River for halloween and the only other firefly fan i know in school, was able to guess who I was! YAY! It was a I-decided-to-dress-down-last-minute thing and was I guess successful. I aimed for the river look in objects in space, using a green floral print dress, a white knit jacket, kinda like the one she wore and black boots, cause i can't walk around school barefoot.

Fic Disappearing
Monday, 05 November 2007 16:09:28

I don't have the time or interest in reposting all my fic that was lost in the recent hackjob. I've got copies posted elsewhere, like fanfiction.net. People can go there to read anything new I decide to post. I'm more upset about loosing all the great feedback. Is there anywhere one can find backups of that?

fic is lost...boo hoo

I just don't have the time to repost here. So, I'll send everyone on over to fanfiction.net. You can find my writings there. Same screen name.

I'll be back!
Monday, 05 November 2007 18:48:23

In two ways - first, in the wake of the 'hands of blue' hacker , I will definitely be making sure that "Passing through the storm" gets back up on the site soon. I've saved all FB from the google cache except for part 2, and I have all of the writing safe in various formats... in fact, I've been doing some editing and polishing, so you browncoats are going to get the brand-new SHINIER version of 'storm' if I have to repost it  Not that there's very much difference in the plot of course. Also, I'll be starting the sequel once Nanowrimo is done... working on a non-fandom project for that, my first in years, so wish me good luck! Actually, I've got about a page done for the sequel, but I'm not going to get much further on it for a while. Even Chinese hackers can't stop the signal. We are all leaves on the wind - or something like that

Writer's strike? *sob*
Monday, 05 November 2007 22:05:14

So the writers have gone on strike today.... While I fully support their cause (because really, when *hasn't* an artist gotten screwed over by businessmen?) I am very disappointed by this news. I don't claim to be a "media snob", but I'm so busy that unless a television show is making a decent effort - with intelligent, engrossing scripts, high production values, and actual actors - I just don't see why I should give them my time. Plus, reality shows are half-assed get-rich-quick schemes that exploit the cruelest elements of human nature to pander to the stupidest of morons... :disappointed: I'm especially saddened because television has finally been seeing an upswing in creative programming after eight crap years of "Survivor" and "CSINYPDSUV" knockoffs, and these great new shows will probably be the first to go after the late night dailies. "Mad Men", "My Name is Earl", "Lost", "Heroes", "Pushing Daisies" - I will be SO pissed if these get backburnered for more glorified "talent" shows! :finger: Obviously there's nothing the little people can do about resolving this dispute, but I do hope the studios come to their senses quickly and give the true creators of television - and their loving audience - what they need and deserve.

Desperate Houswives

....is probably the worst show on TV but damn if Nathan Fillion doesn't make a fine Frankenstein's monster!
