Welcome to my first blog entry dedicated to the TV Show Firefly and the Movie Serenity. I am a relatively new fan to the series and movie. A couple months ago a friend recommended I rent the movie Serenity. After seeing it I was hooked. I went out and purchased the DVD, and then I found out that the movie was in fact based on a short lived TV Series called Firefly. Well I went right out to Amazon and ordered that as well. It has quickly become one of my favorite TV shows. I will use this Blog to say thanks to the crew involved in the creation of Firefly and any news I find out regarding the show.

Bought the DVD so now I don't need the downloaded stuff anymore - just wanted to calm ecgordon and other Browncoats a little. The DVD was easier to find than I thought it would be. I intend to buy the Serenity DVD too :)

It's official! The Bedlam Bards will be hosting the Oklahoma Grand Shindig at the beautiful Tidal School Vineyards. This event will feature a Firefly/Serenity trivia contest, prizes for the best costumes, a charity raffle, hors d'oevres, a wine tasting, floating chandaliers, and a rousing concert by the Bedlam Bards. SHADOWLEOPARD

Started running my Serenity game. I ran "Dead or Alive," the unaired script...folks seemed to like it, though my player who ran the doctor never left the damn boat, so he missed out on most of the adventure. I ran my story "Honor" next, and people seemed to like it. It's always interesting to see where my players diverge from the actual written text. Funniest line: The crew returned from the party in "Honor" sans Simon, and River (who wasn't at the party) looks at Kaylee and goes, "Kaylee, did your dress kill Simon?"

Can someone tell me what a "beta reader" is? I'm thinking that it's like a proof reader or something, but I'm not overly sure. If it is, then does anyone want to do it for me? I have a few fics I want to get posted and someone suggested that I need a "beta reader". And if a Beta is a proof reader then why do you call it that? I'm confused and not at all very smart when it comes to things like this. Someone help me please. (pout)

I started it last September when I really got interested in the show. I created a number of cast member backgrounds in celebration of the 1 year anniversary of Serenity.

It's been one of those days. Where you wish that you could just disappear from the troubles of one life and enter in to the troubles of another. Maybe pop into the 'verse and see what enemies you can make. Escapism...yes, most likely. But, it's a nice thought, Isn't it? If I were to transpose my self into the 'verse where would I be or, who would I be? There's a thought. Maybe, I'll think on that and write into a fanfic or, I'll leave it where it is.
