I've decided to do something Firefly-ish for 'July Novel Writing Month,' so I'm pleased to announce... "The Mechanic Diaries" Life aboard Serenity as told from the mechanic's point of view, from when she first joined up until right before the Big Damn Pilot starts. Not quite sure about the plot, but it'll probably have a few previously unexpected adventures. Hope you'll be looking forward to the first installment.

Chapter twenty ends my current story arc. The next bunch will take place about two months later when Allan has mostly healed. I have some Ideas floating around about Allan dealing with his old company and of course there's a wedding or two happening somewhere... Brian

When you find out an ex g/f of yours whom you were in love with for a fair amount of time , but have long since gone your separate ways, finally gets married... it does play w/ the mind a bit. There was no question as to whether she'd get married, quite the catch, but only who. And when. Why is it some doors in our past are so easy to close, yet others simply will not shut ? And it's far worse when it's a completely one side affair. As in, the ex may still show up in your dreams , maybe not very often, but in very vivid and emotional manner. Maybe definitaly knowing is the best thing. Might not feel like it, but over time, the subconscious can proccess it out and slowly close that door for good, and hopefully open a few more. Sure hope so. It sorta sucks right about now.
