I'm sick :-(
Thursday, 30 March 2006 04:04:44

And I have a test tomorrow. Oh joy. Normally, I wouldn't worry about this test, but I can think of several instances where I didn't test very well because I was sick, and I'm not sure what my grade is, so... grr. Plus, I have to go home on friday and go to an open house for the school I'm transfering to next semester on saturday. Hopefully, I will be better by then, but I can't tell right now. :-( This is going to delay the next Chapter of Over the Hills and Far Away. It's about half written now, but I don't expect to have time to work on the rest until next week.

Morbid and Creepifying
Thursday, 30 March 2006 04:21:01

I think I might have stumbled over a suicide note today. I might be misconstruing what I saw though. I was walking across the bridge (which is suspended over a 25-30 foot drop) when I saw a message written in chalk. It said: I am looking for courage For the one with will The one I want The one I become will Catch me It was too dark to see if there were any bodies at the bottom, so I don't know if it truly was a suicide note or not. I do know that the writting was less than three hours old when I saw it. It's really creepy and I'm not sure if I am misreading this somehow.

New fic, and a preview
Thursday, 30 March 2006 04:36:18

Posted a new fic today, "A Powerful Need." I'm really quite happy with how this one turned out. If you're a Simon/Kaylee shipper, or a fan of NC-17 fics (not naming names. Ya'll know who ya are), check it out. As for upcoming fics, There'll be one, maybe two more PWPs (Porn Without Plot) and then... PLOT. I know, shocking, right? But yeah, I am gonna branch out to include more of the rest of the crew, ongoing storylines, etc. Where are you going? Hey, get back here! There'll still be porn! Sheesh!

The Optimist, the Pessimist, and the Realist
Thursday, 30 March 2006 04:48:11

So there are these three guys who (through one way or another) came across a glass of water one day when walking through a desert of no name and no real location. The first one, who was an optimist, looked at the glass and said, "Look! A glass of water! And what luck, it is half full. Enough for all three of us!" The second, who was a pessimist, looked at the same glass, and remarked, "Are you crazy? There's no way that glass can sustain us all! For, you see, it is clearly half empty!" The third, who was a realist, replied, "You fools. Can't you see that there is no glass; it is merely a mirage." (I don't know what this means or how it came to my mind, but it did and now we all shall suffer for it. Thank you.) (Huzzah.) (Your friend and mine,) (TheSoapboxer)

tomorrow's the last day to bid!!!

Not That It's Relevant
Thursday, 30 March 2006 19:04:43

So the squirrel(s) that live in the little space between my ceiling and the exterior roof are scrabbling around way more than usual and I'm hearing squeaks. I'm tempted to say they are having sex, but seeing as I'm pretty sure that's what happens at 3 a.m. when I'm trying to sleep, I'm going to have to say that they are probably caught in the traps that the landlord set. Now I'm leaving so I don't have to listen to this anymore.

Dish Pan Hands
Thursday, 30 March 2006 21:10:12

I work from home; IT stuff. Right now I'm in the design phase and I want to do a damn good job. So, I only work when pretty much fully awake and while working, I do a lot of pacing, rolling things around in my brain. Want to get it right the first time  But, the result of this is that, while I'm walking around, sometimes letting my back-burner go at a problem, I want to be productive. Just now it was the pots. I washed them. So, now my hands are all wrinkly. I didn't think it was bad so I just came back to work again. Then I touched paper. Soggy hands touching paper, yuck. Now I have to wait for my hands to dry out before I can get back to work. So, I thought I'd write this blog while I wait. Damn water... *grumble*

Great Grandmother
Thursday, 30 March 2006 21:12:25

My Great Grandmother died two summers ago. I didn't know her as much as i would have liked to... We lived so far away from each other. She was 96 an old lived woman... dependent and loving till the end. I recently received my Firefly soundtrack in the mail and when i listened to Tears/River's Eyes, I cried and all my mind could think about was my great grandmother. So i wrote her a poem, a poem for my Beloved June Flora Kerr to ease my pain inspired by tears. ...................... the rest of this Blog has been deleted
