so, 12 months on, i'm older (physically, if not maturity-wise), wiser (but not much)and tweaked-er. in the past year, i have: + discovered firefly (and therefore begun to live) + driven a car (six feet, but hey, who's counting?) + gotten stoned (i know, i know :stupid: very bad idea...) + learned that if i get taken by the government and have my brain played with, i will be rescued by my as-yet-undiscovered *swai* older doctor brother and wake up in a little metal box, very naked, with a mean old man looking down at me going "huh?" + learned how to swear in chinese :smokin: + figured out how to get a hotmail account and use msn + started writing a fanfic + figured out why i don't trust the minster across the road (he ain't no preacher...) + learned how to say ain't + BECAME A SCI-FI GEEK!!!!! now i'm away to disappear off to kizziecstars' bunk and be cut off from the internet 'cause her stupit laptop ain't workin'!!!! :pissed: love and crumpets for the new year b

Well, as of now, I'm in the middle of chapter six Have Wings, Will Fly, and am more than halfway done with my mini crewmembers. I'm in love with my Wash right now. His expression is perfect. Although, I also have a faceless Zoe and a headless Simon waiting to be baked, and they're creeping me out. For these guys I've had mostly a trial and error with color mixing. I have about 12 different browns. Gah! I think I'll post a group shot sometime this weekend, or tomorrow if I get lucky! I still need to finish Inara, Mal, and Jayne. *Sigh* So much patience is required for these, and though I want them to be cute, I have the attention span of a 3 year old. OK, enough clay talk. I'm a little stuck in my fic. I'm still adding in the funny, and so far chapter six has been flowing smoothly, and I'm proud of the 'emotional scenes', except for the Mal/Inara interactions...I need some inspiriation. Where do I want to take this with them? *sigh*...back to making Simon's head... ~Sara EDIT: Is it weird that my Top 25 most played songs on my iTunes are all (except for 6 others) Firefly/Serenity tracks? I'm so hooked.

Currently about 9 months into a year tour in Korea. The town I live in reminds me A LOT of Firefly, and I always enjoy chatting with my fellow browncoats when it comes to holiday time! Hope everyones year has been shiny so far.

Okay guys, if you'll just bear with me while I write up chapter 7. There's some storytellin I got to do and I gotta make sure it's all interwoven and layeree for you guys. Might be another few days, but hey you can always go read chapters one through six again..(Piffle said she caught things the second time around!) Maybe you can formulate your own theories and ideas about what you think I'm gonna do with 'em. For now...I'll just give you a tidbit of chapter 7...and by tidbit I mean the first itty bitty part. River swayed back and forth with her eyes closed as if she could hear music and said in a sing songy voice, "Full pockets and an empty heart. Too soon. It's too soon to know..." As River suddenly halted her movements and opened her eyes she saw a body silhoutted in the doorway. "And too late for you..."

Our revised schedule has us leaving Iraq in eight more days. We also have one more major mission before we leave. I hope to continue to work the ongoing storyline found in Gotterdammerung, but with my work as BDE S-3 I find about 28 out of the 24 hours alloted to the day are filled. I'm brand new to the site and I'm excited to get to know other people who think Serenity is the coolest thing ever just like me!! Well it's a slow day at the office and there is no real work to do so I decided to pop in the old firefly DVD and give it a whirl. I just finished watching Out of Gas from Disc 3 of the series. And just like all other episodes I havent seen I really enjoyed it. I had been wondering how all the of the crew had come together and how Mal had aquired the ship and it was nice to get some insight on the characters. My favorite part is when Wash is being interviewed to pilot the ship and he has his huge awesome moustache and then when Mal and Zoe have there little side conversation and Zoe expreses her great dislike for the possible new pilot, Priceless! Well that's it for now I'm gonna browse the site some more go to lunch then watch another episode!
