Woohoo. My teacher actually showed up today. Haha. And we got our papers back and I got an A++. No joke. That's what he gave me. I knew this class would be a breeze. On the grading rubric every mark was "exceeds expetations". I don't mean to brag, but it seems like something has finally gone my way. Who knew I was good at school? Hahaha. I feel like I can accomplish something now. Good feeling.

So I finally caved in a while back and got myself a MySpace. Originally, I got one so as I could get my name added to the Clerks II credits (which, by the way, I did!). But then a couple weeks ago, I rediscovered it and started building it. And now I officially have a MySpace. It's terrifying. It's also right here:

Okay. The last two days, I've looked like a corporate flunky twice. As in, pinstripe and sweater on Friday, pinstripe [i]suit[/i] today. (And it's not even brown! Okay. Well, most Fireflans don't get that reference, but... *sigh*) I did science fair. With MORDACIL. Yep. Know him IRL. Well, we got third place. Another friend we know got second, and a couple of our friends (separate projects, BTW) got first. This is the regional, and I should be happy I got third, but, honestly, I talked to four or five judges in a span of two hours. Let's make this clear: there was an hour and a half allocated to set up. Okay, yeah, some people came with schools, so that's why they had to have that long. [i]Then[/i] there was a random hour and a half before judging started. Which was two hours, during which I had to stand in 2.5-3 inch heels, and be pleasant, and not be conspicuous about eating my food. Good news is we didn't have to stay for the public viewing. I would have [i]died[/i], because judging was over at one, and public viewing was four to six pm... Well, I went back up today, for the project breakdown and awards ceremony, and we got third place. Did I mention that MORDACIL was wearing jeans, a tee shirt, and a fleece hoodie pull over? OMFG. And, you know, we talked about this yesterday, and he showed up in the same sort of thing today. Well. *sighs* I feel better. That may be the effect of watching a Dalek implode. Formality sucks.
