If I no longer post, it is not because I don't care. We have been getting posts saying we are wasting bandwidth. Know that I have enjoyed my time with all of you on that most wonderful thread. Thank you for teaching me about Australia and Invader Zim and what fun people can have with a simple thread. I take a lot of precious memories with me as I leave this thread. I'm sorry Hell's Kitten. Did not mean to accuse or offend anybody. I just don't understand why this thread is picked on lately. No, you did not call us foolish and if I implied you did, I apologize. It was not just your post that instigated my reaction. There have been others. So please do accept my apology, not to you. I don't find anyone's post offensive. You were all showing concern for the site. And that is not offensive. So this is an apology to all those I offended. As I said, I will no longer post there. I don't want to cause any problems with the site. PS Thank you Savewash for your reply. I enjoyed our sharing and that means a lot to me.

You may not hear much from me in November (you haven't exactly heard a lot from me recently either, but that's because one of the trolls is really making threads unpleasant so I've cut back). Please don't worry, it's because I'm going to try writing a 50,000-word novel in 30 days. No, I'm not the only one doing this. We're all here: www.nanowrimo.org. I have no idea if I'll be able to do it, but I've gotta give it a try, you know? If anyone else is interested, please sign up! I think it will be an adventure, especially if I manage to stay sane. I'll try to let you all know how I did at the end of the month. In the meantime, I'll probably lurk here a lot but not post very much. Thanks in advance for the threads that will help keep me sane! I'll be back in December.

Hello everyone, I'm new to the browncoat verse but am glad that I'm here finally! As my profile says I was first introduced to the JW verse with Serenity and once I found out that there was a series...I had to have it. I can't believe that Firefly only lasted 1 year. That's just silly. I don't watch much television, mostly just movies and football. There just isn't anything with any intelligence to it that is worthwhile. One of the things that I love about Serenity & Firefly is that it was smart and funny. I can definitely see where it doesn't fit in with "todays" television that for the most part you can check your brain at the couch before watching. Half way through watching the Series for the 1st time I looked at my wife and I told her that Firefly was too smart for the American public and would have received a better reception in England where character development and excellent writing are more appreciated. In the U.S. if you don't have the fake drama of reality TV or sex or something blowing up it's just boring. It's too bad really but I hold out hope for the future!
