I can't decide who I want to go as to the premiere. I was thinking River or Kaylee, but I don't know. River would be cool, but my hair is blonde, and I don't really feel like dying it, so Kaylee would be cool, because our hair is near the same color. I love River though. I could have a lot of fun as River. Jeez, it's just to much to take. Any suggestions?

I've been wearing myself out recording music for _On the Drift_, the Bedlam Bards' album of music inspired by Firefly and Serenity. In fact, I was getting so tired that I was beginnning to wonder if it was all worth it. Then last night, when I checked my email at 2 o'clock in the morning after returning from the studio, I had three really shiny encouraging messages: (1) The Signal wants to interview us about the album. Man, what an honor! (2) A fan created a really cool looking cover for the album, out of the blue. (3) A fellow Browncoat offered us a fantastic song he wrote to go on the album along with ours. In other news, I'm playing the Houston Browncoat Brigade Shindig this weekend! It should be totally shiny!

Firefly fans outside Canada and the USA can't directly redeem brownie points in the serenitymovie.com store, so I'm giving away my 6000 points as a standalone to someone who can.

I posted this at General Discussions, but that always disappears so quickly: Note: Nolan just posted this:
I've called every theater in Iowa City/Coralville and Serenity is only showing at one of them: The Sycamore 6. The earliest showtime for that theater is 12:30. I haven't called every theater in Cedar Rapids, but I did get a hold of the Wynnsong, they're earliest showtime is 1:30. As you can see the midnight showing never did pan out... Due to family obligations I myself may not be able to make it to either of these showings but if I can swing it I'll be at the Sycamore 6. Hope to see you there. -Nolen
here at the Eastern Iowa group:

i'm doing some advertising for serenity right now. i just bought a pack of printer paper and some posters. i am going to be hanging them all over my school, and all around town. i just hope i don't get arrested. anyways, i can't wait till friday. i also found a shiny 4 pack of sharpies that has firefly/serenity colors. well, the same color pallete. but wouldn't it be cool if sharpie released a special serenity pack. anyways, better finish. laterz. stephanie
