Oh, God I had a bad day today. Got up at 3:30 a.m to vomit, took some medicine, went back to sleep. Woke up at 6:00 to go to class, had to leave to vomit a few more times, stayed in my apartment for the rest of the day with a fever and vomiting every ten minutes. I'm actually on my laptop because I'm afraid to vomit near my PC. *Hurls* Ewww, that tasted like a mix of Sprite, pretzels, and chocolate. Probably shouldn't be eating..... Oh well. I need sleep and more drugs..... ~WG out (with more vomit)

Salutations to all this is my FIRST entry!

****SERENITY**** MAL: Ready? ZOE: Always. MAL: We're not gonna die. We can't die, Bendis. You know why? Because we are so very pretty. We are just too pretty for God to let us die. Huh? Look at that chiseled jaw. WASH: This is a Fertile land and we will thrive... WASH (as stegosaurus): We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... This Land. WASH (as T-Rex): I think we should call it... your grave! WASH (as stegosaurus): Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! WASH (as T-Rex): Ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! WASH: I'd say worth a little risk. JAYNE: Yeah, that was some pretty risky sittin' you did there. WASH: I can always say I was flying the ship by accident. JAYNE: Captain, can you stop her from bein' cheerful, please? MAL: I don't believe there is a power in the 'verse that can stop Kaylee from being cheerful. Sometimes you just wanna duct tape her mouth and dump her in the hold for a month. ZOE: I know something ain't right. WASH: Sweetie, we're crooks. If everything were right, we'd be in jail. WASH: Just a couple of days lying around, you with the bathing. Me with the watching you bathe. MAL: And I'd like to be king of all Londinum and wear a shiny hat. KAYLEE: Compression coil busts, we're drifting... MAL: Best not bust, then. MAL: Well, maybe I'm not a fancy gentleman like you with your... very fine hat. JAYNE: I don't understand why we didn't leave that sumbitch in a pool of his own blood. MAL: We'd be dead. Can't get paid if you're dead. JAYNE: Ten percent of nothing is -- let me do the math here -- nothing into nothing, carry the -- MAL: We got protein in all the colors of the rainbow. MAL: Jayne, your mouth is talking. You might wanna look to that. MAL: Been a long time since Patience shot me and that was due to a perfectly legitimate conflict of interest. I got no grudge. MAL: If anyone gets nosy, just, you know... shoot 'em. ZOE: Shoot 'em? MAL: Politely. JAYNE: Little Kaylee here just wishes you was a gynecologist. BOOK: brought you some supper, but if you'd prefer a lecture, I've a few very catchy ones prepped. Sin and hellfire... one has lepers. MAL: This is not my best day ever. SIMON: Can you move your feet? Kaylee. Stay with me. Can you move your feet? KAYLEE: Are you asking me to dance...? MAL: This is over, you and me are gonna have a personal chat. SIMON: Won't that be fun. MAL: Huh. SIMON: I need to check her vitals. MAL: Oh, is that what they call it? WASH: Can we maybe vote on the whole murdering people issue? MAL: Now you only gotta scare him. JAYNE: Pain is scary. JAYNE: Was gonna get me an ear, too. ZOE: If they take the ship, they'll rape us to death, eat our flesh and sew our skins into their clothing and if we're very very lucky, they'll do it in that order. MAL: Gettin' awful crowded in my sky. KAYLEE: You're nice, too. MAL: No, I'm not. I'm a mean old man. INARA: I gave the boy a free thrust, since he's not long for this world. SIMON: That man's psychotic. MAL: Oh... I'm a bad man. MAL: Well, we may not have parted on the best of terms. I realize certain words were exchanged. Also, certain... bullets. MAL: I believe that woman's planning to shoot me again. JAYNE: Here's a little concept I been workin' on. Why don't we shoot her first? WASH: It is her turn. ZOE: Nice place for an ambush. JAYNE: Testing. Testing, Captain, can you hear me? MAL: I'm standing right here. JAYNE: You're coming through good and loud. MAL: 'Cause I'm standing right here. JAYNE: Sure you don't just wanna piss yourself and back down like you did with Badger? ZOE: She still has the advantage over us. MAL: Everyone always does. That's what makes us special. MAL: Well, you were right about this being a bad idea. ZOE: Thanks for sayin', sir. WASH: If everybody could just be quiet a moment... WASH: I don't mean to alarm anybody... but I think... we're being followed. ZOE: Sir? I'd like you to take the helm, please. I need this man to tear all my cloth

Slither
Wednesday, 26 April 2006 03:22:26

Saw our good old friend Nathan Fillion today in Slither. Not bad at all actually, infact I thought it was good. Had some nice effects and I thought it was funny in all the right places. Kinda like Zombie movies and this one was a Zombie movie with a twist. Missed the premier of Mammoth though (the one with Summer in it), Only have one friend who has SciFi channel (damn sweden) and he had stuff to do. Pretty sure I will see it though. Also on a bit of a suprising note, been going through all the different projects that the Firefly cast have worked in before, found some good stuff there (like Wonderfalls, excellent show) and got me something of a suprise when I found out that Jewel Staite had played a part in the old series Higher Ground. That show helped me get through a tough time once, So I guess I owe the crew of Serenity one more. Ps: Oh, almost forgott, sorry I didnt make the Chat tonight, just todamn tired, see you all another night.

Help me buy my TV! Please...
Wednesday, 26 April 2006 04:57:59

_______________________________________________ I already got my TV, I don't need help anymore. _______________________________________________ I need a TV for my room. But I don't know much about TVs. So, I've been learning. Wow! There's a lot to learn. Ok, I guess what I'm looking for here is some advice from a TV guru, or even just someone with more experience than me. I'll give you the bones of my desire. From what I know so far, I want a: 17" Flat panel LCD TV, it needs to be "wall mount friendly," it needs to be between $0.00 and $500.00, and I’d like at least decent visual and audio quality (the best I can get for the price I want, obviously). These are slightly flexible requirements. Now that you know my basic preferences, I'm open for suggestions. If you know of a TV that you think I might be interested in, or if you just have TV related knowledge to share, please feel free to help me :þ. And keep in mind that my requirements are slightly flexible. Also, I won't be watching any actual television on it (just DVDs). Don’t hesitate to make me look stupid if you see gaps or blurs in my knowledge :). I want to learn this stuff. I got most of my knowledge from howstuffworks.com:

I'm feeling all warm and fuzzy right now...no I've not been drinking... Only wanted to say that since I've been hangin around this site, I've met some pretty awesome people. People who totally understand this weird phenonmenon that has become such a terrific part of my life. You guys rock and don't take it the wrong way when I say I love you. As for Firefly, I've never fallen head over heels for a t.v. show, or a movie, at that. Never. And the fact that I can watch an episode when I'm depressed, and feel like a million buck afterwards, still surprises me. There is some magic in it some magic that makes it so beautiful you want to cry...happy tears of course. Now I'm blubberin' and ramblin' like a moonbrain...so I'll just end with something simple: Me+Firefly+Ya'll= ...and they say math is hard.

Traveller's Tales feels big. I have big ideas for it, but it's taking a while to get the story off the ground. In the next chapter, they retreive the ship and Belle confronts Mal about the bounty on his crew's head. Also, I'm planning to write a Firefly/Doctor Who crossover fic. Nothing to do with Traveller's Tales, just a bit of fun.

So do people really post blogs here? Really and truly? Well. Gee. I'm a recent Firefly fan. I've never had the luxury of a TV. Well not one that gets channels. So I saw Serenity. Then I liked it. Cos Joss rocks. I has seen every episode of Buffy cos my roommate was obsessed. Then I thought to myself: I want to get Firefly. Then whambam, I found it on eBay for like $25 and whoosh, purchased it. Haven't really ever stopped watching it. Watched, watched with my roommate, got her hooked, watched more, watched with a friend, got her hooked... so yeh. That is what is up. And I spend my free time writing fanfiction and searching for grand pictures of Mal with his guns. Or anything else. Yeh.

THIS WAS JUST FREAKY
Wednesday, 26 April 2006 22:23:15

I saw this onine and it actualy kindof works. with the exceptoin of to of them it was absolutely right. I was a little skeptical trying this, but if you follow the instructions to the "t" you'll be surprised!!!! All of my answers were accurate. We'll see tomorrow if the wish comes true. I'll let you know. Take 3 minutes and try this...it will freak you out! The person who sent it to me said her wish came true 10 minutes after they read the mail. BUT NO CHEATING! This game has a funny/spooky outcome. Don't read ahead...just do it in order! It takes about three minutes...it's worth a try First..get a pen and paper. When you actually choose names, make sure it's people you actually know and go with your first instinct. Scroll down one line at a time...and don't read ahead or you'll ruin it! 1. First, write the numbers 1 through 11 in a column. 2. Then, beside numbers 1 and 2, write down any two numbers you want. 3. Beside the 3 and 7, write down the names of members of the opposite sex. NO LOOKING AHEAD...OR IT WONT TURN OUT RIGHT! 4. Write anyone's name (like friends or family....) in the 4th, 5th, and 6th spots. 5. Write down four song titles in 8,9, 10, and 11. GO WITH YOUR INSTINCT PEOPLE!!!! 6. Finally, make a wish. And now the key for the game..... 1. You must tell (the number in space 2) people about this game. 2. The person in space 3 is the one that you love. 3. The person in 7 is one you like but can't work out. 4. You care most about the person you put in 4. 5. The person you name in number 5 is the one who knows you very well. 6. The person you name in 6 is your lucky star. 7. The song in 8 is the song that matches with the person in number 3. 8. The title in 9 is the song for the person in 7. 9. The tenth space is the song that tells you most about YOUR mind. 10. and 11 is the song telling you how you feel about life NOW...send this to 10 people within the hour you read this...IF you do..your wish will come true

Serenity has ruined movies for me
Wednesday, 26 April 2006 22:48:31

Last night I watched Sahara and I could not get into it at all. About a little less than half way into it I realized that I was comparing it to Serenity and told myself to stop. After that I started to enjoy the film. Why did I have to turn brown? TV shows are not the same. And now movies? Luckily it hasn't affected my viewing of older movies, but then again, they were made to a different caliber than current movies. This totally bites. Now I am going to have to remind myself to watch a movie as itself and not expect another Serenity. Gee. Fun. Some movies you expect to be worse than BDM, like Cheaper by the Dozen (watched it Sunday). But that was a guarantee. Curse you Joss. Curse your amazing writing abailities. Curse your perfect cast. Curse you all to heck. I am just going to go home and watch the BDM all over again.
