I must need an intervention or something. I'm up at 1 in the AM, posting a crossover with Princess Bride and wondering if i'm ever going to go to bed tonight! Merry Christmas to all the good little Browncoats! All the naughty ones can report to the cargo lock for attitude adjustment by the captain and a stern sermon by Book about the special hell :)

Hey all! You friendly Jedi here! I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season! I know that my family is having a great time. It is fabulous to have your family all sit down to dinner, then gather around to share gifts. My favorite part is that this the single day when any disagreement is outlawed. The kids all love every present they open. They'll even turn off the video games to sit down and play a board game. I'm truly blessed. Besides I got FireFly on DVD from Santa. :wink: I can't want to share the joy of FireFly with those who are in the dark. Have a wonderful time and stay safe!

So, Christmas dinner was upon me, the snow was falling, the carolers were caroling, and Civil War talk was in the air. My extremely smart and cool brother-in-law, who works for the govt, was telling the table his views on why he thought the civil war happened, and I said to him, "Have you ever heard of Firefly?" To my great surprise and delight, he responded that he had, and that it was a great show, and had much to do with the Civil War talk we were having. I agreed and we proceeded to tell each other how fabulous Firefly was and how cool we were for being fans. :biggrin: Anyway, it was the perfect thing for him to say because I had just given the Firefly dvd to my parents for Christmas and they have much respect for the opinion of my brother-in-law. (mine too) Anyway, to make a long story even longer, he has helped me to spread the good word of Firefly further throughout the 'verse. Happy Christmas.
