This probably isn't a problem most people have but I just need to write it out, I don't think I can carry it around anymore. The boy I like desperatly with all the love the world contains (Okay so I more than like him) he isn't a Firefly fan, I happen to watch the show nightly. I have been trying to get him to watch it but he calms up and changes the subject. He is also a very good friend of mine and I don't want to fight with him about this but I can't figure out how to get him to give it a chance. GRR! He watches Kriby why can't he watch Firefly!?!?!?!

We watched Our Mrs Reynolds and Trash and chatted with each other about the ep, on AIM (AOL Instant Messenger). Of course, my DVD player is having a fit, so I had a heck of a time getting Trash up and going. But all in all it was a nice time and I look forward to doing it again. Maybe this time I'll listen to my instincts and go an hour earlier than the planned time *wink*

I just started reading Gaiman's (the guy who created the "Sandman" comics) novel "Neverwhere" and there's a female character in there, Hunter, that I picture in my mind as Zoe/Gina Torres. The protagonist of the story is Richard. Here's the description Gaiman offers for her: [quote]...He turned, and standing there was a tall woman, with long, tawny hair, and skin the color of burnt caramel. She wore dappled leather clothes, mottled in shades of gray and brown. She had a battered leather duffel bag over her shoulder. She was also, without question, the most beautiful woman that Richard had ever seen.[/quote] At one point they have a contest for bodyguards, and when Hunter bests a man much larger and stronger than she is, we get this: [quote]Richard was thunderstruck: it had been like watching Emma Peel, Bruce Lee, and a particularly vicious tornado, all rolled into one and sprinkled with a generous helping of a mongoose killing a king cobra. That was how she had moved. That was how she had fought.[/quote] Reading that, it seems to perfectly describe Zoe, and if they ever made a "Neverwhere" movie, I'd hire Gina.

Well, I've gone and done it. I've gotten highspeed internet, and added wireless to the mix. Now I can be on the living room, typing away on my laptop, and watch my FF DVD's all day. Man I need to find a job.

Most of the time, in non-polotical arenas I've kept quiet about my polotics. Why muck things up? Most of the polotical threads on the forums at Buffyguide don't have an entry from me. However, this is a little different. So, I'm sitting here watching Rumsfeld and an General Richard Myers giving a press conference about security in Athens for the Olympics. All I can think of right now is that the press aren't asking the right questions, and Rumsfield/Myers aren't really giving anything that is news worthy. Oh well.

We are going to have a movie in spring 2005? Isn't that ahead of schedule - COOL! Also, the pictures in the transscript of the Q&A session with Jewel - MAN she is a beautiful woman.
