Wednesday, 21 December 2005 00:26:48

I got my movie! I got my movie i am so Happy cause I got my movie!!!! I think I might be converting my dad because this is the first time ever he want's to see a movie for the second time...usually it is one of his rules to see a movie one time and one time only but when I brought my movie home he saw it and said that he actually wanted to see it again...and for my dad that is a BIG deal. Plus my mom did not even want to see it but when she heard my dad liked it enough to see it again she decieded to watch it. there might be hope for them after all!! :biggrin: I am soooo happy about my newly aquired BDM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.... also just wondering any one else think that the picture on the front doesn't even look like her? it looks like it was drawn for one thing and her hair is sooo not that curly it is more straggly, really. I just though that the picture really did not do her justice

Well, I just handed in the last assignment and my take home final (which wasn't all that fun). So, I can sit back and relax for... tonight. One of my profs. decided to be "kind" to us students and set the final after the break. That way we'll all have more time to study... over x-mas break. Jackass. Well, I sure to plan to make the most of this night. So, off to program I go. Weeeeee!

Serenity For Christmas For Me!
Wednesday, 21 December 2005 00:48:26

My parents should really learn to be more discreet.. Late last week I called my parents to get some info, etc. And my Mom asked me if there was anything in the under $30 or so, that my sister could get me for x-mas. So, I tell her about a few DVD's I wanted which included Serenity (of course :smile:). But, I also said that if they wanted to get it, they should pre-order it if they could as it's released on the 20th (as we all know). They said that she wanted a longer list and I told her that I'd find my DVD want list and get back to them. We tried to call a couple times, but never an answer. So, yesterday my Dad calls me to tell me about some family stuff and I asked him if they still wanted the list. I hear him call to my Mom and ask if she still wanted the list or was that thing they have to pick up tommorow (today) it. He came back and said, nope, it's all taken care of. Well duh! Gee, I wonder what I'll be getting for x-mas from my sister. Well, at least I'm getting something I actually want this time :biggrin:

Serenity Out-takes Question--->
Wednesday, 21 December 2005 04:00:51

When I was watching the out-takes today, it came to the part when Nathan starts dancing outside of the rescue ship on Miranda. Then he grabs Morena and dances with her... ...but the sound goes completely away after like 3 seconds of starting. Does it only do that on mine? or everyone else's too? And why?!

See you in the New Year...
Wednesday, 21 December 2005 10:05:26

Well, it's Christmas time again... (I've only written a couple blogs since last Christmas...) As anyone who's spent five minutes with me in the chat will know, my main net access is throught the college. And the college is closing today. In about an hour. I'll be back on the first day of the new term, which is Thursday the 5th of January. :smile: So, 'til then, have a Merry Christmas and a Shiny New Year - or for those of you who don't celebrate Christmas, the closest cultural equivalent.

DVD comment
Wednesday, 21 December 2005 17:09:40

So I'm one of those *discovered FF in Oct when the movie opened* people. I rented the series and watched it all in three days, then saw the BDM 3 times in just over a week (before it closed at the local theaters :pissed:) and then bought the FF DVD, watched it a million times, etc... My point is, the movie experience feels long ago and kinda blurry. I knew I liked it, but... I watched Serenity last night, and it was SO good! Just sooooo good. Thanks a million times over Joss and company! I feel all re-energized to convert! I got two DVDs, one is on loan already! ya, and I have faith. We'll be seeing more of the 'verse. me v :kiss: ^ Joss

ON DVD RELEASE
Wednesday, 21 December 2005 17:34:07

OK Guys, The DVD is out and who thought it could not get any better. Not me! It was as awesome the second time around as it was the first. Then the extras were in fact extras. Joss's little commentary gave me very good insight into who he is and how passionate he is about this series turned movie. I for one would love to see Firefly/Serenity return to tv. Maybe the scifi channel will pick it up. My only wish is to be able to attend a convention or something to me the man who could not let this awesome show go. If i were him I would have fought just as hard. It all goes back to what I always say about excu-tight they would not know something awesome if it were between their legs. Excuse the not so polite speech but I think everyone who let this show be cancelled is not completely there anyway. But to go another way if it were not for their idiotic views we may not have been handed such an awesome movie. Joss I am behind you all the way. I may not have much, but I will give what I can as way of support or whatever is needed to see that we get to see more of this awesome show. On a more personal note: Joss you are very creative in bringing people back and I hope you can work some of the creativity to bring back Wash. If not, then we will miss him and I hope we have some one to replace him that is just a charima as Wash does or did. To end Joss you have had me spellbound since Buffy and I let you down when Firefly first came out here in South Carolina because it was competing against scifi friday, but I assure you that I will never falter again and will always have faith in anything you bring to the screen whether it be the small screen or the big screen. Continued success Robert from South Carolina
