In the 'Train Job' River says something about Mal that I don't get. She says "Mal is bad...in the Latin". What does she mean by that?

Why did Mal let Simon and River stay on Serenity? The two could get everyone in troble and ruin their lives if they get caught. And still Mal let's them stay.

I feel like I have been gone for so long, just a little trip around the moon and back. It's a raining day and I am listening to a little Firefly on my DVD and was coming up with a fun drinking game those of age could play, I know there are already a few out there, but I figured it would be great to get you the fans in on it! respond back to me with a few suggestions and I will compile a list and post it up...it will be the official FireFly Drinking Game, for fans, created by fans...can't wait to hear from you all!!!
