So, I'm not a fan of slash. Not at all, in fact. But as I was looking at some icons earlier and started wondering how much Kaylee/Inara slash was out there. Just for the simple fact that I really love thier relationship, and I wonder how many people percieve it as possibly sexual. Granted, with fangirls, almost any relationship can be considered sexual (have I mentioned the hobbit slash I've stumbled across lately), but I feel like it would be a stretch to take this almost maternal or, um, sisterful relationship and turn it sexual. Won't say pervert it, because you know, just because it's not my bag, but I certainly think that it's an extreme to go to. Granted, I don't get Rayne, for that matter. But I hate raging against the machine in fanfic and writing stuff that goes directly against canon. Just a thought.

It's 11:14 pm. In 10 hours and 6 minutes, my first HSC exam will commence. It's fair to say I'm scared beyond belief. I'm fretting over EVERYTHING! Have I studied enough? Do I remember all my quotes? Will I manage my time correctly (I write incredibly slowly and small)? Will I get another gorram hand cramp? Will I get a crappy desk? GOD HELP ME! At the same time I say "Bring It On!" Then again, for the Uni course I want, I don't need marks that are too spectacular. Don't get me wrong, I'm gonna try my damndest. Oh and one of the plays I have to write about? Yeah, I never got a copy. The schools excuse was (and I quote): "Sorry, but there aren't anough to go around for everyone." Me and 3 others have not read the entire work. That's why I'm forced to rely too heavily on the related texts...(yes I know I'm pretty screwed here.) The good thing is that when Supernova is on (a pop culture convention..Summer Glau will be there), I have a small window of opportunity to attend. Then it's back to exams. Creative writing I'm fairly comfortable with, I based it on the Mal/Inara relationship. I might post it here. That's just tomorrow's exam. Then I have 8 more...go me. Oh, and if you're going to wish me luck...don't. Me and a friend have decided that "Good Luck" is sorta lame, and kind of a jinx. So we invented a new saying... "Let's pray for a miracle". You'll all most likely find I'm conspicuously absent from the site. I haven't left, I'm just attending to some HARDCORE study time, and will have very very very few hours of free time; most of which will be spent either crying like a baby, panicking like a crazy person or studying some more. That's enough of my panicky ramble... Until my return, Toodles and... "Let's pray for a miracle" *** First exam is done. Was not fun (What exam is?...don't answer that), but it wasn't the torture I was anticipating. Just felt like a slightly harder than usual exam, but with WAY too much pressure. Pity I didn't finish. You know, I fair fairly okay in exams, but I think it'[s massivley unfair to those who don't that a whopping 80 percent of the UAI (University Admissions Index, the mark Uni's use to admit you...100 UAI= Einstein) has it's marks scaled by exams. I know people who are smarter than me, but I get better results then then because exams are decidedly NOT their forte'. Then again, some people cheat the system and get ludicriously high marks without even showing up! Next up: English on Monday, 3 wonderfully unfun (yes, that's a word now) hours in the poorest circulated room ever. Actually, I have three 3 hours exams next week...I need to bump up on my Augustan lines of succession...and maybe get my Business Report structure down pat (yes, that's all as boring as it sounds...God I hate study). That's enough of my bitching for now, just thought I'd let you know... Let's pray for a miracle.

It's funny, I'd never even heard of Firefly or Serenity until my wife came along. I had no idea who Joss Whedon was. Hell, I barely knew what Angel, or Buffy were. Tho, Buffy I knew from the movie and knew a show had been created based on the movie. Now, it seems like I can't get enough of Firefly, or Serenity. My wife ordered a shirt for me off of cafepress.com, and a few things for herself, least of which being a messenger bag. Everything came in yesterday, and what have I done now??? I went on there today, ordered myself another shirt, and a messenger bag, but different design on the bag. How do ya like that??? I've been watching Firefly more than I watch my Star Wars, and I'm a huge Star Wars fan.(Got a couple of Star Wars tats to prove it.) But, then again, so far, about everything my wife has introduced me to, I've at least liked. At least as far as comics, Sci Fi, etc., goes. But she has like some of the stuff I've introduced her to. Oh well, I guess it should make everyone laugh and say, "well, I'll be damned", where life takes em. I am a leaf on the wind, see how I soar.

Hey Guys! Im back from my 3 day 2 night campin trip with my school! It ended up being way better than I thought it would be. Although, they had us go kayaking in 48 degree weather, while it rained. My boat flipped and after an hour of the cold wetness we went back up for lunch. I couldnt stop shaking. My friend started shaking too i had it worse. About an hour and a half later i stopped shaking. (Kayaking was obviously cancelled for the rest of the day) But minus my hypothermic incident, twas pretty awesome. And minus the fact there was no showers. Camping with unshowered teenage boys? NOT FUN!!! -5

Well, I haven't been on this site in a very long time. I shall hang my head in shame. :hanged: I've been pretty ill for quite sometime now. Won't bore anyone with the details. Well, to make a long store short (too late) I've decied to make a new profile and RoxyFreefall is born. My old profile was Chyna. I didn't really post much or get to know too many people so this change isn't too drastic. I've just been too sick to be here much. I just would like to start fresh. So to all of you who knew Chyna, this is the new me. Hiya!
