Hi, I've had two great driving lessons in a row now. My instructor said today that he could feel the confidence I had. I did manouevres today; reverse parking nad i got them all right (except I had to readjust my left mirror). I'm going to book my theory test next week. Hope i pass. Oh, and I made myself a website:

I've been dabbling in my artwork, after a fairly long hiatus. Digital photography tends to encompass my life a lot at the moment, but sometimes a good old fashioned pencil sketch can purge a stressed system than a digital camera. And, it seems to have done the trick. My creativity appears to be clicking into place on a lot of levels lately, and I'm grateful to find that balance once more. That feeling has been lost for a loooooong time. A lot of windows on a creative level, appear to be opening right about now. Or, it's a simple case of finally attaining the drive to push myself into broader areas. Either way, it feels good. The UK's leading sci-fi magazine, SFX, are gearing up for their annual short story competition. The contest is in its third year, and I'm determined to churn out a piece of original fic. In the past, I've always wanted to contribute, but the ideas have never flowed. The first couple of hundred words have already been typed out. My original idea for a story initially started out as a running joke, (because the example I gave in conversation, was totally ridiculous. Let's just say 'reclamation workers on the moon.') Although, that wacky concept is now something that I'm focusing on for real. The deadline for entries is the beginning of June, so I'm beavering away on that as much as possible. Anywho... This is what I've been doodling away on since yesterday. A finished version will appear in a future blog very soon:

SO I've just been hooked for a few short months. I had e-mailed some friends of mine that have been trying to get me to go to a Con for years, they go to them all the time. I just was never into something that much, as you can tell I am now. So I told them If they co to a Con and any of the cast from Firefly are there let me know and I will go with them. They responded with the last one we went to they met Adam Baldwin(Yum)and yes they will keep me informed. So one week later I meet them out for drinks, and guess what? Yup they gave me a singed picture of Adam.I said I couldn't possibly take it blah blah blah it was theirs and I would get one someday. Well it arrived special delivery this morning with a note that says welcome aboard Serenity and non-returnable. So on my way to have it framed I'm not going to fight with them. Friends are Great!!!! Kisses

The time has come, Serenity said. Postage is going up May 12, and this is going to affect the price of shipping of my hats and also how much I'm paying for my yarn. It effects everything! As such, I'm afraid I'm going to have to raise the price of my hats slightly. :crap: If you'd like a pre-postage-increase-priced-hat, please place an order now. I'll try to knit as many hats as I can and mail them out before the 12th. For those of you who aren't familiar with my hats, pictures can be seen here:
