I love

Yesterday was an impossibly hectic day, but somehow I found the time to download the pilot of "Chuck" from amazon.com. (It was free, and I'll take almost anything that's free!) I didn't get around to watching it until tonight. And, perhaps this is the kind of show that we've been looking for since the F-- Network gave "Drive" the boot. Fortunately, this show will air on NBC, which is owned by Universal. (Did I mention how much I love those guys?) The only thing better would be a revival series of "Firefly". The show is sooooo funny with a girl-troubled genius (he went to Stanford, that's smart for me) named Chuck working as a head Nerd Herd (aka-Geek Squad) at a Buy More (aka-Best Buy... why those guys didn't OK using their name is unknown and a

My first fanfic... ever!

I’ve been an avid fic-reader for years, but I’ve never had any plot-bunnies hound me enough to actually write something. Until now. I read a story that just wouldn’t leave my mind, and knowing it would never be written, I decided to give it a shot myself. I'm a bit new to the posting process, so

Back in the west
Sunday, 16 September 2007 14:11:33

I have been home for almost one week now. It wasn't really sad to leave St. Petersburg. After six weeks living out of a suitcase and a rather unpleasant confrontation with some of those who rented us apartments near the end, it was rather nice to head back to drinkable tap water and waiters that have heard the word service and have a concept of what it means. I'm definitely going back though. It's an absolutely beautiful city, with an interesting history. I do want to go other places in Russia too. Here at home its raining, its cold, I'm unemployed and broke. Not the highpoint of my life. Finding work is boring. I do wish I was still a student... well, it will be alright. It always turns out well... most of the time anyway.

Eh, just posted my fic to the BSR. HTML is a bitch! I hate when people mess up postings, and there I am double-posting all over the place my first time. *sigh* Ah well, it's good to have that story off my mind, hope it inspires others to write so I don't have to!

THEOLOGY AND GROCERY finally up
Sunday, 16 September 2007 23:38:21

Hey All As some of you know, I am a film student at the U of R, and that I created this short film last year called THEOLOGY AND GROCERY. This short film is actually a scene from a larger movie I have in mind, my dream movie if you will. It's a romantic drama in the vein of BEFORE SUNRISE/SUNSET. I mention this because in my dream movie, I had envisioned my two leads to be played by Jewel and Sean as polar opposites of their characters that we all know and love. Well, I finally got around to digitizing it and posting it online. It's not on YouTube (for some reason I never got a confirmation e-mail back from them), but on Facebook. I just discovered it, and it is way better than MySpace. So if any of you would like to peek at so far the best work I've done and imagine Jewel and Sean in these roles, the link is below.
