Sorry about that "test". I'm not too sure how to work this thing. I'm new to this site, well sort of, I've been lurking around for a little while now and decided I just had to join in the fun. Browncoats really are the best!!

Some of you may recall a while back of me talking about one of my online friends starting to get into the series without even seeing an episode. Well, that changed today. She watched the marathon on Sci-Fi with her sister(who is already a fan) and loves it now. HA! I must have one of the most unique conversions ever!

One thing I don't think I mentioned yet is how long the summer days are in Germany. The light fades around 9:30-10pm, and the birds wake you up at dawn, which is around 4:30-5am. And Germans start working around 6am, so the fellows dropping large metal objects across the street had a good head start by the time I gave in and got up. I packed and showered up. S made coffee. We drank it being all bummed out. B joined us, and we ate some toast. I surrendered the house keys, and hid a 50 euro note on the shelf where they keep stuff by the hall. I know if I tried to give it to them, they wouldn't take it. They spent so much money on me, it was unreal! Hopefully the cash will come in handy when they find it. Goodbyes to Speckie.

(with the exception of Kaylee, but other than watching bits and pieces of episodes so I don't lose the characters' voices for my fics, I haven't watched Firefly much since my Buffy discovery in April.) I'm in a terrible mood right now, and I decided to go watch Angel by way of therapy. I'm watching early seasons since we only have one and two on DVD, but I am totally miserable about the fact that on both Angel and Buffy, Joss has killed my favorites. Yes, Illyria was an excellent & utterly fascinating character, but I [i] loved [/i] Fred. She's my very most favorite in all of Angel and she even ranks slightly higher than Tara. So of course, he has to kill her in this brilliantly tragic plotline that makes me cry just thinking of it. (seriously, my brother made me a shirt which reads 'You just can't argue with FRED logic!' and has a few of his favorite Fred quotes on it, and I teared up because he included "please, Wesley, why can't I stay?" and "Would you have loved me?") WHY?! Why not kill someone useless who I didn't love as a character, hmm? :fork:

i'm going top mention something I've been thinking of, nothing complete, just ideas. I've been thinking about the deaths of both Book and Wash. And I've been thinking that Wash's dying was more....i can't think of an applicable word. I don't want to say more important, because that's not true, so i don't know. my point is, wash died suddenly, and was still living on this ship, he was also the pilot, the man who kept Serenity flying. Book on the other hand had moved off the ship and was living in Haven, he had time to speak to mal for a bit before we lost him. He was the subtle guidance for the crew, the conscience. ( i can't spell)

This is my good-bye to Firefly and Serenity. i love this show so much. it is the greatest show i have ever seen, but its time. the reason for this is that i can not watch the series or movie anymore with out getting "PISSED OFF" that there not going to be anymore stories told!! So thats all (I know no one is going to read this but to hell with it!!) "Everyone dies alone"
