Composer nomination

A while back a certain composer caused a certain amount of hoopla amongst certain browncoats, and that got me thinking. If I were Joss, who would I ask to be the composer for my BDM? I thought about all of the greats...Horner, Williams, Shore, and Zimmer. And I think that they might could do a good job. But today I had an epiphany while listening to my soundtrack for Children of Dune. Brian Tyler is the coolest. Yes, that was my epiphany. CoD was okay, but the soundtrack is stinkin shiny. And I have some good reasons. 1-It weaves in the "native" music so well. If anyone could combine the western and Chinese in music as Joss has done for the 'verse of Serenity, I think it would be Brian Tyler. 2-And the emotion it is able to communicate...I get shivers up my spine just thinking of how he would do the Reaver theme. 3-It is layered. The characters of Serenity have some quite complex emotions, the music needs to be able to show those at the same time. 4-It is not grandiose in a Core world way. Brian Tyler can write music that is grand, in a way that would not be out of place on the Rim. Yes, there ya have it. My official opinion and reasons on who should compose the music for Serenity. Brian Tyler. Maybe I should start a campaign. :biggrin:

Alright, to all my friend's on here, sorry I disappeared. This has been an interesting time for me, to say the least. I'm living with my mom again. It was a fun-ish move because it was over Christmas break and I wasn't aware that I was moving until half-way through my vacation. Fun, huh? Anyway so I'm no longer living with my dad. It's not so bad though, coming back here to my old town and my old school and my old friends. I've even made a few new friends! Oh and on a Firefly related note- I converted my boyfriend and his brother. They both really like Firefly. I'm lending them my DVD's one at a time. Talk to everyone later. Bye y'all!
