When i came home today, my sister grabbed me and told me she thought one our cats, Luke, was dead. I went into her room, into her closet where he had fallen asleep last night, and when i looked at him and incepted him, it was confermed... Hes had passed away in his sleep. So... its being a bit hard on me... so im kind of... out of it...

Got the companion(s) and space hooker book. Read 'em. Not actually that much new or (to my mind) insightful therein. Most of it's been discussed on the boards. Shiny pictures and funny asides though! I should be able to use it for sentence structure and language usage if nothing else. Hmm. Just got all my little discs back home safe and sound. I need to get up early and go walk 3 miles for the ACS breast cancer thingy. Work got a team up last year, so now it's a tradition. Don't know if I'm gonna make it 3 miles in the rain this close to just getting better. Then there's a birthday party for munchkin's classmate that afternoon. Still haven't gotten a prezzie. Good thing it's at a mall.

now that i've spend a good ten hours sifting through ones and zeros... hyperlinks and images, i think i've finally updated most (but not all) of my forums, blogs, and groups... i'm just glad to know that even though i'm a 'late bloomer' as far as becoming a Firefly fan (saw the series for the first time two weeks ago... thanks to a friend) i think i'm still a fanatic, and am glad to find that i'm not the only one. furthermore, i'm proud to see that we (browncoats, the WORLD over) aren't giving up... theres updates and contest and get-togethers galore... all these people spending countless hours in an attempt to bring Firefly to the masses, and share our addiction with the world ...as true fans should!! At any rate, i think its about time to grab some wine & chocolate and sit down for another episode of Firefly... catch ya'll in the verse!

I think I'm gonna go with handy bookmark storage unit. I've been through four traumatic computer deaths since my online fandom began, and another one looks imminent. So, assuming I get around to it, I'm going to post my handy ff/s related reference links as blogs (I can edit old blogs, right?) where others can use 'em too. (And add in their own handy links.) So the question now is, do blogs use the same formatting for links that posts do? (test:)

I have been told (nothing concrete as yet) that the Hero of Canton shall be gracing a minor Comic convention in Dublin on the 25th of November. When I find out more information I shall post here. I am all shivery excited!!!!
