New FFF posts all the time... seasonal thing?

ok, so when I started posting a few months back, we where lucky to get maybe 6 blue sun room entries a MONTH. now, we're getting like two entries a week.
Is this like a seasonal thing, or we just suddenly have new authors or what?
loving the new fanfics, just afraid to get attatched. (firefly syndrome all over again)
