Does Knitting a Jayne Hat Nullify My Man Card?

So, I've taken up knitting. All because of Firefly. It's actually for the CSTS screenings. If all goes according to plan (heh, I know), then we'll have a Jayne hat to give away at each of the screenings. They're going to show our Reaverized fan film as well.

Besides, I'm told that I have no man card, because I bought a minivan for my wife.
